Ocean Breeze waterfront planning
Dock and seawall permits in the Town of Ocean Breeze on the Indian River Lagoon: town application by email, history, lagoon conditions and state approvals.
Describe your project on this page ↓Get to know your waterfront
Ocean Breeze began as a trailer park founded in 1938; its 142 property owners voted to incorporate the 65-acre park in 1960, and the town dropped “Park” from its name in 2013. About 300 residents live there on the Indian River Lagoon, within the Jensen Beach area.

A tiny town with its own permits
The town handles its own building permits, including a dock permit application for the Ocean Breeze Resort, and accepts applications by email. Lagoon exposure brings saltwater corrosion, wind-wave and king-tide concerns, and seagrass and manatee rules.
In-water work still needs FDEP and, where applicable, Army Corps authorization. Building & Permitting · Building & Permitting · Southeast District
What could the work cost?
Confirm with the town clerk which application applies before getting bids.
Published examples are attributed context from Treasure Coast and nearby South Florida sources, not a Port St. Lucie average or a quote. Your wall needs a property-specific written scope.
